SU16 Series
The SU16 series is designed, engineered and crafted to be the perfect everyday Sport Utility rifle. Differing primarily in barrel length and stock configuration, these gas piston operated, semi-auto rifles accept standard AR-15 magazines, with some models that store two spare, proprietary magazines in the stock.
Configurable
There are a few SU16 models and configurations to choose from to suit your needs, but all of them feature iron sights and an integrated Picatinny-style rail on top of the receiver to mount your favorite optic.
Utility
If you know anything about KelTec, you’ll know that we like to keep things light and simple. The SU16 is an excellent choice for your go-anywhere 223 rifle.
Reliable
All of the SU16 models are gas-piston operated which keeps fouling to a minimum where the magic happens. Thanks to the long travel of the bolt carrier, the SU16 series rifles shoot smooth, flat and reliably.
SU16F
We're often asked, "Why doesn't KELTEC make an AR-15?" Well, here's your answer. The SU16F gives you a gas piston operated, 223 rifle with adjustable sights, a threaded 18.5" barrel, pistol grip, our proprietary compact forend and 6-position stock assembly right out of the box. All of that comes in at under 5lbs unloaded!
